AJ4 Recon "YEAR OF THE HORSE"

Welcome to the Year of The Horse.

The creation of the YOTH AJ4 began as part of a collective celebrating the Chinese zodiac Year of the Horse. This year is also referred to as the「Fire Horse Year」.

The majority of the sneaker is made of a rich brown oil-impregnated leather — known in Chinese as “Crazy Horse” leather (瘋馬皮) — from the material library. Its wild, natural grain and distinctive pull-up effect echo the untamed energy of the horse. Every scratch, crease, and tonal shift becomes a living trace of wear, allowing the full-grain, top-grade leather to evolve over time — much like the enduring cycle of the zodiac itself.

To ignite the AJ4 form and the Fire Horse Year, fire-red baby calf suede and lamb skin were featured as a nod to Lunar New Year vitality, fortune, and momentum. The character “馬” (Horse) is engraved along the side panel. The tongue features detachable tags inscribed with Lunar New Year blessings, seamlessly merged within the Substance brand logo.

A celebration of motion, material, and meaning — wishing you a powerful Year of the Horse, success in full gallop.

以農歷丙午年的「火馬」為主題重製的喬丹四代使用了棕色的油鞣革，通常也被稱之為「瘋馬皮」來作為基底。其狂野自然的紋理與獨特的拉紋效果，呼應了馬匹不羈的能量。每一道刮痕、折痕與色調變化都成為時間的印記，使這款頂級全粒面皮革隨時間演變出獨特的質感，正如生肖循環般持久而深遠。

為了賦予 AJ4 造型生命力和表現火馬年，鞋款搭配火紅小牛麂皮，也象徵農曆新年的活力、財運與動力。細節上，將象形「馬」字刻印於瘋馬皮的側板上，鞋舌設計可拆式吊牌，刻有農曆新年祝福，並融入 Substance 品牌標誌中。
