AJ1 DECON/RECON SHOEMAKING CLASS

Learn to create your own AJ1 (Low/High) through a 5-day class that takes you from deconstructing the original shoe to reconstructing a new one. Each session completes a key stage of the process and prepares you for the next. Class durations range from 3-5 hours, covering the fundamentals of handcrafting and reconstruction, taken place at our shop. Sessions do not need to be scheduled consecutively.

Day 1: Shoes Deconstruction & Materials Selection

Day 2: Pattern Creation & Upper Preparation

Day 3: Upper Construction & Lasting Preparation

Day 4: Lasting Uppers & Sole Attachment Preparation

Day 5: Outsole Attachment & Final Completion of Your AJ1 Low

All materials and machineries will be provided for use during the class. Students are required to bring their own pair of AJ1 Low to be reconstructed. After enrollment, you will be contacted via email to coordinate class dates and additional details.

After the class, you will have:

• One pair of AJ1 Low designed and built by you
• Reusable shoe patterns
• A set of basic shoemaking tools
